This unusual configuration stayed overnight at Texarkana KOA. The 35′ Fifth Wheel is pulled by a full size Truck with a Smart Car winced down on the Truck. Jack Skinner of Shelley, Idaho stopped at the Campground on his trip from Yuma, AZ to Clarksville, TN.
He puts down a ramp on the side of the truck and slowly winches the smart car to the ground. The car gets about 40 mpg.
Jasmine “Jazzy” Jordan is staying at Texarkana KOA while completing her 3,159 mile run from California to New York City. The purpose of her cross country run is to raise awareness for uninsured truck drivers. Interested parties can contribute to The St. Christophers Truckers Development & Relief Fund.
The popular show Texas Country Reporter hosted by Bob Phillips featured a segment on RV Art. The segment highlighted the RV Art prints by Wills Point, TX artist Paige Bridges. The RV Art Gallery collection of over 100 art prints includes many of Paige’s work.

The RV Art Gallery has added leather belt buckles to their collection of unique gift items celebrating the RV Lifestyle. Gift items that celebrate the Fifth Wheel are hard to find; this buckle is a response for those seeking something unique and interesting.
Crafted by leather artist Becky Dawson, the buckles are individually carved, stamped, painted, and sealed with leather wax to brighten and protect the design. The buckle can fit up to a 1 1/2 inch wide belt.
The buckles come in three varieties: the canned ham travel trailer, vintage silver trailer, and fifth wheel.
The travel trailer recalls the “Canned Ham” trailer of the 50’s.
The vintage silver trailer evokes memories of the Airstream, Spartan, Silver Streak, or Avion brand of aluminum clad travel trailers.
This travel trailer doll house turned out to a fun project for the staff at the RV Art Gallery. The kit includes wood parts for the body, wheels, front stand, table and chairs! We took a trip to our local craft and hobby store, where we found an ample supply and choices for wall paper, flooring, paint, brushes, wood putty, glue, etc.
Whether you are a skilled craft person or a beginner the kit will engage you in hours of focused assembly.
The top and back are open, so doll house play is a definite possibility.
The dimensions are 23″ W x 8″ D x 9″ H (plus 5 ½” hitch).

The RV Art Gallery announced today its 500th online sale. Customers from 46 states have ordered rv gifts from the RV Art Gallery’s collection of over 100 RV theme art prints and collectible items celebrating the RV Lifestyle. With the Christmas shopping season in full swing, order 500 was for vintage RV gift wrap and vintage rv holiday gift labels.
The gift wrap is a limited item, no longer available when the galleries’ stock sells out. In addition to the gift wrap, the 2010 Vintage Travel Trailer calendar and numerous RV theme Christmas ornaments are very popular.
These Airstream Trailer inspired birdhouses and bird feeders are the newest addition to the RV Art Gallery collection of RV theme birdhouses.
Constructed of resin, these items are both durable and delightful. Sure to invoke memories of vintage aluminium travel trailers like Airstream, Spartan, Avion and Silver Streak.
